What can be said about me that hasn't been said by my millons of adoring fans already? Oh yeah, I like to dream! I won't bore you with too many irrelevant details about myself (if you are interested, check out Jerry V.net, Love and Peace, and Dark Heart Dawning) so I will get right to the point.
I am a geek to the extreme. I spend about 3 hours a day reading about every aspect of the technology industry, as well as listen to 3-5 hours of podcasts pertaining to the same. I love technology, and I can't get enough of it! Photography, graphic design, website design, programming, entertainment, podcasting, surfing...technology is a huge part of my life.
I have been going to college for 10 years. This has gotten me a background in Finance (but no career--curse you tech bubble!), computer science, and technical management. I currently am finishing up another round of schooling at DeVry and will finish as an overly educated Project Manager (hopefully). I used to dream of being Salma Hayek's love slave but...now It is my dream to work for Microsoft on the Xbox team, but I currently work as a FORMER Tech Specialist at Office Max.
It was at this job that I was able to discover something about myself. I really do like helping the average person understand how to fix and interact with this ubiquitous device: the personal confuser. I get asked questions all the time by less tech-savvy people, and it occured to me that there was a real need for some help in our area. The idea for this site was born. Allow me to help guide you and enable you to become more comfortable with technology.
Oh yeah, and hug a geek once in awhile. Some of us are people too.
