how to set up email (webmail and client) con't.

You have successfully set up your webmail address. Congratulations. Go ahead, bask in your own glory...
You can check your email from any computer now simply by going to the respective site (www.hotmail.com for example) and entering your email address and password. If you have multiple email addresses spread across different sites on the internet, it would obviously be desireable to be able to view them from a single program. Enter the email client. I will use Outlook 2007 in this example to show you how to set up your webmail for aggregation.
Open your email client (Outlook, Live Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) and click on Tools>Account Settings. You will be presented with the following image:

Your email client will then attempt to establish a connection to your email server. If you entered all of your information properly, then it will connect in a few moments (based on your connection speed).

Congratulations! You have successfully set up your email and client! You have upped your geek cred! Feels good doesn't it?

Remember to hug a geek. They may save your neck one day!

...WAIT! Geek! We have a problem!!!
I can't connect to the server!
